Maria Jose Alonso

Maria Jose Alonso has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Maria Jose started their career in 1985 as a Professor of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Santiago de Compostela. During their time there, they also served as the Vice-Rector of Research and Innovation from 2006 to 2010.

In 1991, Maria Jose Alonso worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Department of Chemical Engineering for a year. Maria Jose later returned to MIT in 2012 to work at the Koch Institute for a brief period.
