Alex J Tsouvalas

Alex J Tsouvalas has over 20 years of experience working in construction technology and IT roles. Alex J started their career as an Independent Business Owner, IT Trainer, and Senior IT Consultant at Mindful Solutions LLC, where they developed customized training curricula and delivered classes to clients in the greater Boston region. In 2017, Mindful Solutions training services were acquired by AXIOM Learning Solutions.

Alex then worked as a Senior IT Trainer & Consultant at Dellbrook | JKS, Elaine Construction, Refrigeration Engineering and Contracting Co. (RECCO), and J & M Brown Company, Inc., where they provided IT consulting and training services.

In 2012, they joined Viridian Energy as an Independent Associate, and in 2014, they worked as a Senior IT Trainer & Consultant at Windover Construction.

From 1998 to 2020, Alex held various roles at Shawmut Design and Construction, including Senior Manager - Field Technology and Training, IT Trainer & Consultant, Interim Director - User Services, and Interim Director - IT. During this time, they led construction technology services, software training programs, and worked closely with the Safety Department.

Currently, Alex is the Director of Construction Technology at FUSE Group LLC, a national subcontractor and part of Suffolk Construction. In this role, they lead technology teams and initiatives, develops strategic plans for construction technology transformation, and partners with Suffolk Technology on construction start-up space.

Additionally, they serve as an Advisory Board Member at IHP Safety.

Alex J Tsouvalas obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Hispanic Studies from Wheaton College Massachusetts, where they attended from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at St. John's Prep from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in OSHA 10 Hour Training from the institution OSHA 10 in January 2019.
