Avtandil Nebadze

Avtandil Nebadze has a diverse work experience in the field of IT security. In 2012, they started as an IT Specialist at the Commission for Ensuring Voters List Accuracy, where they worked until October 2012. From August 2012 to August 2014, they served as a Computer Network Specialist at N(N)LE Akhaltsikhe Castle. In 2017, they joined Silknet as a Troubleshooter for six months. Avtandil then moved to FINCA Impact Finance, where they began as an Information Security Intern in July 2017 and eventually became an Information Security Specialist in January 2018. Avtandil held this position until April 2020 when they were promoted to Global Security Compliance Manager, a role they held until February 2022. Avtandil is currently employed at Liberty Bank, first as an Information Technology Security Officer from February 2022 to June 2022, and subsequently as the Head of IT Security.

Avtandil Nebadze holds a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics from the International Black Sea University (IBSU), which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Avtandil then pursued a Master's Degree in Cyber Security from TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology in 2014, and later earned another Master's Degree in Cyber Security from the University of Tartu from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, Avtandil has obtained several certifications including the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from ISC2 in 2024, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2023, as well as certifications from Qualys and Splunk.
