Giorgi Gvazava has extensive experience in the field of risk management and finance. Giorgi currently holds the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) / Deputy CEO at Liberty Bank, where they are responsible for building a strong risk culture within the organization and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and regulations. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Credit Risk Department / Deputy CRO at the same bank. In this role, they led a team of 170 employees and focused on fostering a risk management culture and ensuring regulatory compliance.

In addition to their work at Liberty Bank, Giorgi co-founded ebazaar.ge in 2021, an online platform. Giorgi also serves as an Invited Lecturer at Caucasus University, where they share their expertise with students.

Giorgi Gvazava has a Bachelor's degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Tbilisi State University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Giorgi then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Caucasus University from 2011 to 2014. Following that, they completed another MBA, specializing in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, at the Free University of Georgia from 2015 to 2017. Lastly, Giorgi pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University from 2017 to 2018.
