James Lang

James Lang has extensive experience in the financial services industry, beginning with their role as Principal at Cashel Capital in 2002. James then moved on to become the Chief Equity Strategist at Perpetual Value in 2009. In 2012, they joined Cedar Hill Capital as Managing Director, where they served as an investment analyst and internal consultant for the venture capital portfolio. In 2014, they became Head of Exchange Operations and Director of OTC Trading at itBit, a Liberty City Ventures portfolio company. Lang then moved to Liberty City Ventures as Managing Director in 2017, and in 2020 they became Chief Executive Officer of COVID PreCheck, another Liberty City Ventures portfolio company.

James Lang obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Columbia University in 1988. James then went on to obtain their MBA from NYU Stern School of Business in 2004, with a double major in Finance and Accounting. In 2002, they also obtained their CFA certification from the CFA Institute.
