Michael Vona is an experienced maritime professional with a comprehensive background in cargo handling and port operations. Currently serving as Port Captain for Liberty Global Logistics LLC in the US Southeast Region since August 2021, Michael has previously held significant roles at Höegh Autoliners AS, including multiple positions as Head of Cargo Handling and Port Captain. Additional experience includes serving as RORO Manager at SSA Atlantic and Cargo Manager for the Southeast US at Liberty Global Logistics LLC, as well as a prior role as Cargo Specialist. Michael's extensive tenure in the industry began with Hoegh Autoliners from 2005 to 2011, showcasing a consistent trajectory of leadership in port and cargo management.
