Ilesh Patel currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer for Energy Transition at Liberty Global, a position held since March 2024, focusing on leadership and business development within the energy transition investment portfolio. Previously, Ilesh was a Partner and the Global Markets & Strategy lead at Baringa Partners from April 2012 to February 2024, where significant contributions were made to building a market-leading energy advisory business and guiding clients through the complexities of the energy transition. Additional experience includes roles at Redpoint Energy, Infosys, SunGard Energy, and Caminus Energy, spanning over 25 years in the energy sector, with a strong emphasis on strategy, business development, and market advisory. Ilesh holds a BA/MA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
