Tobie Verwey

Tobie Verwey has extensive work experience in the actuarial field. Tobie started their career in 2004 as an Assistant at SIMS Khula Training and worked there until 2009. In 2010, they joined Johan Sauer Actuaries and Consultants as an Actuarial Analyst and Software Developer. Tobie then moved to Liberty Group South Africa in 2012, where they held the position of Actuarial Specialist until 2019. From September 2019, they became the Head of Actuarial Development at Liberty Group South Africa.

Tobie Verwey completed their education with a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Science from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics from the University of Pretoria from 2008 to 2010. Tobie Verwey's secondary education took place at Eldoraigne High School, where they completed their Matric qualification between 2003 and 2007.
