Julio Marcial has a diverse work experience that includes positions at Liberty Hill Foundation, Turn 2 Solutions LLC, and The California Wellness Foundation.
At Liberty Hill Foundation, Marcial serves as the Senior Vice President of Programs, overseeing a program team, grant-making program, capacity building programs, foundation-relations and strategy, partnerships, and research and evaluation. Julio also leads the foundation's youth justice portfolio, focusing on reducing the size of Los Angeles County's youth justice system and implementing a new countywide youth development system.
Prior to joining Liberty Hill Foundation, Marcial worked as a Principal at Turn 2 Solutions LLC.
At The California Wellness Foundation, Marcial held the role of Program Director, managing numerous organizations and grants. Julio also worked as a Communications Officer at the foundation.
Julio Marcial began their education at UCLA in 1992, where they pursued a field of study in Psychology. Julio then transferred to UC Santa Barbara in 1994 and obtained a degree in Sociology, focusing on Juvenile Justice. Later, from 1996 to 1998, Julio attended the University of Michigan, majoring in the School of Education.
