John Maschger

John Maschger has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. John has held various senior leadership roles in revenue cycle operations, including Associate Vice President and Vice President at Liberty Hospital. In these positions, John was responsible for strategically improving the patient experience, implementing automation through AI and RPA enhancements, and achieving fiscal and operational improvements. Prior to their role at Liberty Hospital, they served as the Associate Administrator of Revenue Cycle Operations at University Health KC, where they successfully implemented strategies to maximize operational efficiency and increase cash flow. John has also been actively involved with the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), serving on the Board of Directors and holding various officer roles for the HFMA Heart of America Chapter. In addition, they have experience in corporate compliance and revenue cycle consulting, working on projects nationwide to improve cash flow, promote operational efficiency, and enhance system performance. John's early career includes serving in the US Army as an Infantryman and Squad Leader.

John Maschger has a BA in Healthcare Management from Ottawa University. John is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health Care Management from Western Governors University, which they are expected to complete in 2024. Additionally, they hold several certifications including Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) obtained in April 2023, Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA) obtained in 2015, Certified Healthcare Finance Professional (CHFP) obtained in 2008, and Certified Outpatient Coder (COC-Formally CPC-H) obtained in 2000.
