Luke Matsui has a diverse work experience. Luke started as a Law Intern at the San Francisco Unified School District in 2021. In 2018, they worked as a Reading Tutor at Reading Partners. In 2022, they joined Liberty in North Korea, where they served as the Education Chair until July 2023 and then became the Vice President. In 2022, they also worked as an Advising Fellow at Matriculate. Luke Matsui later became a Transportation Planning Intern at UC Berkeley Parking and Transportation in 2023. In the same year, they also worked as a Strategy Consultant at Global Research and Consulting Group and as Business Operations and Strategy at MUNE.
Luke Matsui's education history includes various academic experiences. Luke first attended Balboa High School from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a diploma. During this time, they also participated in dual enrollment programs at Los Angeles City College, City College of San Francisco, De Anza College, and Santa Barbara City College from 2021 to 2023.
In 2022, Luke enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies and Data Science. This program is expected to be completed in 2026.
In addition to their formal education, Luke obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certification from ITT International TEFL and TESOL in August 2021.
