Angel A. Lugo-Gonzalez

Angel A. Lugo-Gonzalez, MA, is an experienced Worship Director at Liberty Live Church since January 2023, responsible for leading worship services and coordinating events. Previously served as a Worship Resident and Contracted Worship Leader with the Office of Spiritual Development - LU Serve, where responsibilities included training facilitation and event planning. Angel has also worked as an Operations Assistant with LU Send, providing logistical support for internships and study abroad programs. Prior experience includes serving as a Youth Worship Pastor at Iglesia Cristiana Ciudad de Bendición, where leadership development and worship setlist coordination were key responsibilities. Angel holds a Master's degree in Worship Studies: Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Puerto Rico-Humacao and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Worship Studies in Pastoral Counseling at Liberty University.
