Stuart Woody

Stuart Woody is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the field of insurance litigation and claims counsel. Currently serving as a Senior Claims Counsel and previously as a Claims Counsel at Liberty Mutual Canada since April 2020, Stuart specializes in handling losses under D&O, E&O, EPL, Crime, Cyber, and Fiduciary product lines within the Financial & Professional Services team. Prior to this role, Stuart was an Associate at Blaney McMurtry LLP from March 2015 to March 2020, focusing on D&O, E&O, fidelity insurance/fraud recovery, and insurance coverage litigation. Earlier positions include Associate at Halfnight & McKinlay Professional Corporation, where expertise was gained in property insurance and commercial general liability insurance, and Articling and Summer Law Student roles at Stikeman Elliott LLP, providing a solid foundation in various litigation and corporate practices.
