Jonathan Ames

Jonathan Ames is an Insurance Defense Attorney at Liberty Mutual Insurance since December 2022. With a strong background in historic preservation, Jonathan serves as a Commissioner for the West Bridgewater Historical Commission, a role held since May 2012, focusing on the preservation of historic sites and the management of project funding. Prior experience includes serving as the Historic District Commission Coordinator for the Town of Bristol, Rhode Island, where Jonathan organized applications and meetings regarding historic work. Legal internships at the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office, Boston Landmarks Commission, and the Rhode Island Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission provided Jonathan with valuable experience in statutory research and compliance. Jonathan holds a Juris Doctorate and Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Roger Williams University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bridgewater State University.
