Melanie Beacham

Melanie Beacham, LCSW, has extensive experience in mental health and social work. Currently serving as Team Lead, Supervising Therapist, and School-Based Mental Health Therapist at Liberty Resources since August 2017, Melanie specializes in conducting intake assessments, providing individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, and collaborating with educational staff to support students aged 10-15. Prior roles include Associate Program Director at the Alzheimer's Association, where Melanie facilitated caregiver support programs and conducted care consultations, and internships at various organizations, including Mexico Academy and Central School District, Metro Justice, and Vera House, Inc., focusing on counseling, advocacy, and community organization. Melanie holds a Master of Social Work degree from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Psychology from Nazareth College of Rochester.
