Hospitality Associate at Liberty Science Center

Norma Flores is an experienced educator and hospitality professional with a background in teaching and guest relations. Since April 2015, Norma has served as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at the West New York Board of Education, managing classroom duties, creating lesson plans, and facilitating multimedia instruction. Concurrently, since June 2013, Norma has worked as a Hospitality Associate at the Liberty Science Center, assisting over 3,000 guests on peak days while adhering to organizational protocols and educating visitors about exhibits. Norma's earlier experience includes a role as a Human Resource Clerk at Silver Line Windows. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Social Studies Teacher Education from Rutgers Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in History/Political Science from Rutgers University.

Liberty Science Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to getting learners of all ages excited about the power, promise, and pure fun of science and technology. Liberty Science Center houses 12 museum exhibition halls, a live animal collection with 110 species, giant aquariums, the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium (the biggest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere), a 3D theater, live simulcast surgeries, tornado and hurricane-force wind simulators, K-12 classrooms and labs, and teacher-development programs. More than half a million students, teachers, and parents visit the Science Center each year, and tens of thousands more participate in the Center's offsite and online programs.
