Liberty Science Center
Rosa Catala-Steidle is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the Director of STEM Innovation at Liberty Science Center since September 2011, focusing on integrating science, technology, mathematics, and engineering in education through hands-on lessons for schools. Prior to this, Rosa held various roles at Liberty Science Center, including Associate Director of Electronic Programs, where multimedia components were successfully integrated into distance learning, and Electronic Field Trip Coordinator, mentoring educators and managing videoconferencing and curriculum development. Rosa began a career in education as a Kindergarten Teacher at P.S. 5 Ellen Lurie School, teaching bilingual and monolingual classes. Rosa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from SUNY Geneseo in 1998.
