Greg Bennett has over 15 years of experience in environmental health and safety management. Greg is currently the Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Liberty University, where they are responsible for managing all aspects of the environmental health and safety and emergency management programs. Prior to this, Greg worked as an HSE Field Support Specialist for The Linde Group, where they provided support to multiple plants in the southern region of North America. Greg also has experience as a Safety Director/Risk Manager at Mader Southeast, where they focused on developing and implementing management systems to reduce injuries and lower overall business costs.
Greg Bennett obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Information Systems from the University of Phoenix from 1998 to 2000. In addition, they have obtained certifications as an OSHA Authorized Instructor for both General Industry Safety & Health and Construction Safety and Health from Southeastern OSHA Training Institute - West Virginia University and Southeastern OTI Education Center - North Carolina State University respectively. These certifications were obtained in June 2021 and May 2021.
