Doneen Hobbs has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1984 at American Water, they served as a Senior Rate Analyst and later as the Assistant Director of Finance and Cash Management. In 1993, they moved to Illinois American Water as the Comptroller and Director of Accounting/Finance. Doneen then returned to American Water in 1999 and held various Vice President roles, including VP of Shared Services and VP of Internal Audit. In 2006, they became the VP of Shared Services at American Water and managed their shared services center. In 2013, they joined Bingham McCutchen as the Senior Director of the Global Services Center. From 2014 onwards, they had an extensive tenure at National Grid, where they held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of the Services Delivery Center, Vice President of US Shared Services, and Vice President of Business Assurance. Doneen'smost recent position is as the VP of Financial Services and Systems at Liberty, starting in 2022.
Doneen Hobbs attended Ball State University from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting from the same university during the same time period. Doneen Hobbs also holds the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the State of Indiana, obtained in 1990.
