Jayamali Kasige

Jayamali KASIGE, P.Eng. CEng, currently serves as a Senior Manager at Liberty since January 2023. Prior to this role, KASIGE held multiple leadership positions at Potentia Renewables Inc. from April 2016 to September 2022, including Vice President of Operations and Engineering, Vice President Operations, and Director of Engineering. KASIGE also served as Engineering Manager for Canada Operations at Crown Technical Systems from September 2014 to April 2016, specializing in engineering management and design of Arc Resistant Metal Clad/Metal Enclosed Switchgear based on ANSI standards. Earlier experience includes an Engineering Manager role at General Switchgear focusing on Medium/High Voltage Switchgear Systems and a Technical Manager position at Ormazabal, with expertise in Medium Voltage Switchgear Systems and Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS). KASIGE holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, obtained between 1990 and 1995.
