Sophie Wilson

Sophie Wilson is an accomplished wine buyer with extensive experience in the industry, currently serving as a Buyer at Liberty Wines Ltd since September 2018, after previously holding the position of Assistant Buyer. Prior roles include Wine Buyer at FINE+RARE from April 2017 to September 2018, and Off Trade Account Executive for Sainsbury's and Waitrose at Bibendum PLB Group from 2015 to April 2017. Sophie began their career at PLB Group LTD as an Account Executive for Tesco and Tesco Wine by the Case from August 2013 to April 2015, following a brief stint as a Marketing Intern at Bancroft Wines Limited in mid-2013. Previous experience also includes a Customer Sales Assistant role at St. Andrews Wine Company and a Summer Intern position at The Spanish Wine Company, where contributions included launching a new spirits brand for the Chinese market. Educationally, Sophie holds a Master of Arts degree in French and Spanish from the University of St Andrews, attended from 2008 to 2013, and completed studies at Oundle School from 2001 to 2008.
