Nikolaos Baziotis

Chief Information Officer at Libra Group

Nikolaos Baziotis is Chief Information Officer of the Libra Group and oversees all aspects concerning information technology (IT) strategy and computer systems required to support the group's corporate objectives and goals.

He joined Libra in 2006, and previously served as IT manager for the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence. In this role, he was responsible for the institution’s IT systems, including the provision of secure access and email services nationally, and the remit to redesign and upgrade of its IT systems. Nikolaos has also worked for Mediterranean Business Networks where he managed a team of IT professionals.

He graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with Computer Science from the Manchester Metropolitan University, and also holds an MSc in Mechatronics from Lancaster University, an MBA in Management & Operations from the Edinburgh Business School, and most recently an MSc in Computing & Information Technology from the University of Bedfordshire.
