Rebecca Trevalyan

Cofounder & Director at Library of Things

Rebecca Trevalyan has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Rebecca is currently the Cofounder & Convenor at Platform Places, where they lead efforts to bring buildings into community use or ownership for local benefit. Prior to this, they co-founded Library of Things, a social enterprise that promotes borrowing over buying to reduce waste. Rebecca has also held the position of Head of Partnerships at Impact Hub Brixton, where they launched innovative programs and partnerships. Rebecca has valuable experience in social and environmental initiatives, having completed placements at Gen Community, IIED, Carillion, innocent drinks, and Firefly Tonics Ltd. Rebecca also served as a Social Enterprise Support Officer at Student Hubs and worked as a Project Manager at EVENIUM S.A.

Rebecca Trevalyan graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages, specializing in French, German, and Portuguese. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Leadership for Sustainable Development at the Forum for the Future from 2013 to 2014.
