Miguel Angel Carrera

Miguel Angel Carrera is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the scientific instrumentation and technology sectors. As the Founder and CEO of AVS Added Value Solutions since June 2006, Carrera has led the company to become a key provider of complex scientific instruments for Big Science and Space, achieving significant growth and a customer base of over 500 in more than 26 countries. Additionally, Carrera serves as Vice President at Tekniker, a member of the Management Board for the Fusion Industry Innovation Forum, and has founded LICUOS, a B2B payment platform aimed at facilitating commercial debt transactions. Prior roles include Vice President and President at INEUSTAR - Spanish Science Industry Association, and a scientific advisory committee member for the Basque Government. Carrera’s educational background includes multiple advanced degrees in business and engineering from prestigious institutions such as ESEUNE Business School, Georgetown University, and Sheffield Hallam University.
