Oscar Svantesson

Oscar Svantesson currently serves as Säkerhetschef at Lidköpings kommun since May 2023. Prior to this role, Oscar worked at Polismyndigheten from January 2009 to May 2023, where responsibilities included serving as Brottsförebyggande samordnare in the Skarborg police area, focusing on crime prevention at both regional and national levels. Additional roles at Polismyndigheten included Kommunpolis in Skövde and Skara - Götene, Ingripandepolis, and various positions within traffic policing. Oscar's earlier experience includes serving as Gruppchef for a military police unit in Försvarsmakten from July 1991 to May 1992.
