Jens Thiemer

Jens Thiemer is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in marketing and brand management. Currently serving as Vorstandsmitglied at Lidl International since January 2024, Jens previously held the position of Senior Vice President Customer & Brand at BMW Group from January 2019 to December 2023. Between August 2013 and December 2018, Jens worked at Daimler AG, initially as Vice President Marketing, followed by Vice President Marketing Communications. Prior experience includes a partnership at CNC Communications & Network Consulting AG from April 2007 to July 2013, as well as various roles in sales, marketing, and corporate communications at Daimler AG from 1999 to 2007. Jens has an academic background from the University of Kassel, University of Stirling, and Universität Trier.
