Evgeny Shlevkov has extensive experience in the field of scientific research. In 2011, they began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Children's Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School. Evgeny then moved to Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CBMSO) in 2005, where they worked as a PhD student in Gines Morata's laboratory. Evgeny'sresearch focused on the phenomenon of apoptosis-induced proliferation, where apoptotic cells induce the proliferation of neighbouring cells via secretion of proliferative cues. In 2017, they became an Associate Scientific Research Staff at Boston Children's Hospital. In 2018, they joined Biogen as a Scientist and later as a Scientist II. In 2021, they took on the role of Associate Director at Myro Therapeutics, and most recently in 2022, they were appointed Assistant Director at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development.
Evgeny Shlevkov began their educational journey in 2000, when they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Evgeny then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biochemistry at the same university, which they completed in 2011. Prior to their higher education, Evgeny attended Centro Educativo Punta Galea (Las Rozas, Madrid, España).
