Alexander Winkler is an experienced professional with a strong background in finance and strategic management. Currently serving as the interim Geschäftsführer at Forest Mapping Management since April 2024, Alexander specializes in forest management, software, airborne sensing, and GIS services. As an Investment Manager at Liechtenstein Group since January 2021, Alexander focuses on investments in ag tech, forestry, and real estate, acting as the head of forestry investments and board member for selected portfolio assets. Previously, Alexander held various roles at Boston Consulting Group from June 2014 to January 2021, culminating in the position of Principal, where responsibilities included leading corporate finance and strategy initiatives and contributing to restructuring, transformation, and M&A transactions. Alexander also gained valuable experience as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs in 2013. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Strategy, Innovation, and Management Control from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and a Bachelor of Arts in Management of International Business Processes from FH Joanneum.
