Dylan Mendelsohn has extensive work experience in the restaurant industry. Dylan most recently worked at Life Alive Cafes as the Director of Training and Development since November 2020. Prior to that, they were a Restaurant Consultant at Rethink Food NYC from August to October 2020.
From 2018 to 2020, Dylan worked at Dig in various roles, including Senior Manager of Restaurant Training and Operations, New Restaurant Opening Training Lead and Field Trainer, and Test Kitchen Chef de Cuisine.
Before joining Dig, Dylan held the position of Sous Chef at Eleven Madison Park from September 2015 to February 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Sous Chef at Dovetail Restaurant from May 2013 to September 2015.
Dylan's earlier experience includes working as a Line Cook at Sugarbush Resort from December 2012 to February 2013, at The Muttontown Club from May 2011 to August 2012, and at North Hempstead Country Club from May 2009 to May 2011.
Dylan Mendelsohn attended the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill from 2010 to 2013. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Culinary Arts/Chef Training.
