Nishant Agarwal

Nishant Agarwal has a diverse work experience. In 2014, they worked as an Operations Engineer at Apl Apollo Tubes Ltd. Nishant then moved on to Bajaj Auto Ltd in 2018, where they worked in Research & Development as a Process Engineer. In 2019, they joined Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur as a Senior Project Associate in the Design Program, and later transitioned to the role of Project Engineer in the Bio-Medical Research Lab. During the same year, they also took on multiple roles at UNLEASH - Innovation lab for SDGs, including UNLESH+ and Talent - Fellow cohort'19 for SDG 3 track. Additionally, they worked at Engineering for Change, LLC as an Expert Fellow and Research Fellow in Health, conducting product reports review and developing reports related to Tech4Dev. Nishant'smost recent position is as the Founder & CEO of Life and Limb, which they started in 2020. Nishant is also an Ambassador at UNLEASH, where their responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating activities and connecting with the alumni network.

Nishant Agarwal has a strong educational background in mechanical engineering. Nishant obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur between 2015 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UPTU from 2010 to 2014. Nishant'seducation started at Nehru Public School from 2008 to 2010, where they completed their 10+2 education with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB). Additionally, Nishant Agarwal has obtained a certification in Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) Treatment Facility Design from the World Health Organization in April 2020.
