Douglas Carson

Douglas Carson serves as the President of the Board of Directors at Holly Ridge Center since 2015. In addition, Douglas has been a Subject Matter Expert and Senior Engineering and Planning Technician (Mechanical) at Life Cycle Engineering since February 2016. Previous experience includes working as an Engineering Planning Analyst at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. from July 2019 to June 2020, where Douglas was a member of the CVN CAST Team aboard USS CARL VINSON (CVN 70). Douglas's extensive background at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard from 1980 to 2013 includes roles as Assistant Project Superintendent, Project Engineering & Planning Manager, Project Engineer, and Mechanical Engineering Technician. Douglas began a career in the US Navy as an Aviation Boatswains Mate (Fuels) from May 1976 to April 1980. Douglas graduated from Olympic College between 1981 and 1986 and holds a High School Diploma from Heath High School in Ohio, completed in 1975.
