Lnha Christopher K

Christopher K, LNHA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Christopher started their career in the United States Air Force, where they served for more than 20 years and retired in the top 3% of enlisted personnel. In the Air Force, they excelled in recruiting, operations, training, compliance, and risk management.

After their military service, Christopher joined Life Enriching Communities in 2017. Christopher initially worked as a Confident Living Counselor and later transitioned to a Manager, Special HR Projects role. In this capacity, they contributed to various human resources initiatives.

In 2021, Christopher assumed the role of Corporate Safety Manager, where they conducted workplace audits, ensured OSHA recordkeeping compliance, and implemented hazard reduction measures.

Christopher's next role was as an Assisted Living Manager (Operations Manager), where they provided 24-hour quality care to assisted living and memory support residents. Christopher effectively led a team of 35 nurses and aides and managed all operational aspects such as budgeting, personnel management, training, and logistics.

In 2018, Christopher took on the position of Learning & Education Manager, where they reported to the executive team. In this role, they directed the education program for over 1300 associates across multiple senior living communities. Christopher also designed and facilitated leadership curriculum for the management team.

Currently, Christopher serves as the Executive Director of a Continuum Care Retirement Community (CCRC) at Life Enriching Communities. As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA), they oversee a facility with 134 licensed skilled nursing and long-term care beds, 40 assisted living and memory support beds, and 80 Independent Living Units. Christopher leads a team of 200 employees and ensures the delivery of high-quality care and services to the residents.

Christopher K earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Anderson University, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. In 2018, they attended Xavier University for a Train-the-Trainer program, focusing on How Adults Learn. During the same year, they also completed another Train-the-Trainer program at Xavier University, this time specializing in Plan, Design, and Evaluate Training Programs.

In terms of additional certifications, Christopher K obtained a license as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) from BELTSS in March 2023. Christopher also received the certification of Certified Professional in Aging Services Risk Management from ECRI in October 2020. Furthermore, they acquired the Just Culture certification from Outcome Engenuity LLC in December 2019.
