Paul Dougherty

Paul Dougherty, LACP, LUTCF, FSS, HIA, has been a State Farm Agent since December 1997 and currently serves as a Board Member for Life Happens since January 2020. Dougherty held various leadership roles within NAIFA, including President from September 2016 to September 2017, Secretary from September 2014 to October 2015, and National Trustee from September 2010 to September 2013. Additionally, Dougherty served as the Immediate Past Chairman of the School Board at Elizabeth Seton High School from September 2008 to June 2013 and as the Immediate Past Chairman of the State Farm Agents & Associates of Maryland PAC from 2008 to 2012. Dougherty was also the Past Maryland State President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors from July 2006 to June 2007. Dougherty earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from The Catholic University of America between 1986 and 1990.
