Richard Smith began their education journey in 1999 at Canterbury Christ Church University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Media and Sociology. Richard completed their undergraduate studies in 2002. Following this, in 2006, Richard attended The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where they embarked on a PGCE Media program, specializing in Education. Richard obtained their PGCE qualification in 2007. Continuing their academic pursuits, Richard enrolled at Canterbury Christ Church University once again, this time from 2008 to 2010, for a Master's degree in Education.
