Guillaume Rémond

Guillaume Rémond has a solid background in the technology industry, with a focus on embedded systems and IoT/M2M development. Guillaume co-founded Life Plus IO in 2015 and served as the CTO, overseeing the technical aspects of the company. Guillaume also took on the role of IoT - M2M Partner Manager at Actility, where they played a key role in developing partnerships and integrating LoRaWAN technology.

Prior to these roles, Rémond worked at Eileo, initially as an Embedded Systems Technical Leader before being promoted to Embedded System Development Manager. In this role, they managed a team of seven developers and worked on firmware development for vehicle tablet integration projects. Guillaume also collaborated with EMS in Belgium and China, managed production, and worked closely with distributors and silicon manufacturers.

Rémond began their career at The Hertz Corporation, where they held several positions related to embedded systems development. Guillaume initially served as the Eileo Embedded Systems Technical Leader before being promoted to the Eileo In-car Systems Manager. Guillaume led the firmware development for a car-sharing end-to-end solution.

Guillaume Rémond's education history begins in 2000 when they attended Lycée Saint-Joseph in Dijon and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics. Guillaume continued their studies at the same school and obtained another Bachelor's Degree in Electronics from 2002 to 2004. Following this, they attended ECE Ecole d'ingénieurs, an Engineering School, from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Master's Degree in Embedded Systems. In 2006, Rémond also briefly attended Polytechnique Montréal, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Electrics for a year.
