Moving forward, from 1978 to 1980, they enrolled in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Baylor College of Medicine, specializing in Internal Medicine. Lastly, from 1981 to 1983, they pursued a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), furthering their expertise in this field.
