Matthew Pillar

Matthew Pillar has a strong and extensive work experience. Matthew is currently the Editor-in-Chief at Life Science Connect since January 2020. Prior to this, they held various chief editor positions at VertMarkets, Inc., where they covered tech-centric industries for 20 years. Matthew has also been the President of Matt Pillar Communications since July 2010, providing B2B marketing communications services. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Copy Writer for Creative Concepts of WNY and as the Director of Marketing at Houghton College. Matthew started their career as the Marketing Director for Junior Achievement of WNY.

Matthew Pillar attended Frontier Central High School from 1990 to 1993. Matthew then pursued higher education at the University at Buffalo from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs.
