Casey Rice has worked in various engineering roles since 2012. In 2012, Rice worked as a Peer Teaching Assistant at Purdue University, where they instructed first-year engineering students in the understanding of basic engineering fundamentals. In 2014, Rice worked as a New Product Development Engineering Intern at Symmetry Medical, where they acted as a design lead for a cross-disciplinary project team and completed Design History File documentation. In 2015, Rice worked as a Project Engineer Intern at Life Spine, where they managed numerous small design projects of surgical instruments and implants from concept development to delivery to the end user. Finally, from 2016 onwards, Rice has worked as a Project Engineer and Junior Project Engineer at Life Spine, where they have been responsible for designing and generating CAD models and associated drawing, analyzing potential risks of the product, and conducting validation testing and reporting.
Casey Rice attended Purdue University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
