Garrett Lauf has over 10 years of experience in the engineering and production fields. In 2007, they began their career as a Production Associate at Production Products Inc, where they were responsible for manufacturing over 1,000 floor panels per day and examining over 20,000 parts per day in Containment. Garrett also was responsible for recording the amount of parts made and daily record keeping. In 2008, they became a Co-op Engineer at Boston Scientific, where they performed time studies for engineering standards and created work content graphs to make the assembly lines more efficient, as well as developing valuable personal skills in a team oriented environment. In 2009, they held a similar role at Covidien. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Co-op Engineer, Project Engineer, and Director of Engineering at Life Spine.

Garrett Lauf attended Ottawa-Glandorf High School from 2002 to 2006. Garrett then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2011.
