Gene Michtchenko has extensive experience in the field of technology and engineering. Gene has worked in various roles and companies, starting with their current position as Lead Platforms Engineer at Life Time Inc. where they focus on Azure and AWS cloud engineering, automation with Chef, and Linux OS administration. Prior to that, they served as a Sr. Cloud Automation Engineer at Merrill Corporation, contributing to cloud automation projects. Gene also has an Associate's Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Alexandria Technical and Community College, which they completed from 1999 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Gene also obtained several certifications including Cassandra Administrator from DataStax in 2015, GSEC - Security Essentials from the SANS Institute in 2012, and CCNA from Cisco in 2001.
