Kirstie Close

Kirstie Close is an experienced educationalist and marketing professional with a diverse background in academia and entrepreneurial support. Since July 2022, Kirstie has held roles in Marketing and Operations at LifeAid Pty Ltd and as a PR and social media specialist for HPClothingAus. As the owner of Create Your Past since October 2019, Kirstie has provided guidance to entrepreneurs and startups on integrating historical and cultural practices into their operations. Significant academic contributions include positions as an HDR academic advisor and Graduate School Supervisor Registrar at Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education, along with research-focused roles at the University of Melbourne, Macquarie University, and Deakin University.
