Bruno Gonçalves

Bruno Gonçalves has been working in the field of bioinformatics since 2013. Bruno started as staff at the XIV Congress of the European Society for Evolutionary Biology in 2013, and then as staff at the 11th International Meeting on Microbial Epidemiological Markers in 2016. In 2015, they began their PhD studies at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular, and currently works as a Bioinformatician and Software Developer at Lifebit since 2019.

Bruno Gonçalves obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa between 2009 and 2012. Bruno then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from the same school between 2012 and 2014. Finally, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics from the University of Lisbon between 2015 and 2019.
