David Tzeng is a Senior Bioinformatician at Lifebit since July 2021, with previous experience as a Bioinformatics Consultant and Bioinformatics Scientist II at Xbiome from October 2018 to July 2021. Tzeng's work includes exploring the gut microbiome's influence on anti-PD-1 immunotherapy responses in gastrointestinal cancer patients and investigating the effects of probiotics after antibiotic treatment in rats using multi-omics approaches. Tzeng also evaluated statistical models for differential bacterial abundance analysis. Prior roles include Senior Research Scientist at 3D Medicines Inc and a Research Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Tzeng holds a PhD in Molecular Biotechnology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from National Chung Hsing University.
