Diogo Silva

Diogo Silva has been working in the field of bioinformatics since 2009. Diogo began as an MSc Student at CoBiG² in 2009 and then moved on to become a Junior Researcher at Universidade de Aveiro in 2011. In 2013, they became a PhD Student in Bioinformatics at CoBiG² and then a Bioinformatician at Instituto de Medicina Molecular in 2017. In 2018, they became a Lead Cloud & Software Engineer at Lifebit, where they also work as a Bioinformatician and Software Engineer, developing the world's first platform that brings the computation to omics data and learns from it.

Diogo Silva received their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Lisbon in 2008, following their enrollment in 2005. Diogo then went on to obtain their Master's degree in Biology, General from the University of Lisbon in 2010.
