Ben Fiers

Ben Fiers is an experienced project manager in operations at Lifecore Biomedical since January 2019, where previous roles included facility project engineer and facilities engineer. Fiers gained valuable experience as a mechanical engineer intern in nuclear operations at Xcel Energy, focusing on equipment safety and efficiency. Prior roles as an engineering assistant for the Minnesota Department of Transportation involved design recommendations and cost estimates, while an internship as an energy modeling engineer at Residential Science Resources provided insights into home energy efficiency. Fiers also interned as a manufacturing engineer at BEC Controls Corp. and returned to the Minnesota Department of Transportation for additional engineering assistance. Fiers holds a Master of Business Administration from Hamline University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
