David Hampshire

David Hampshire has had an extensive career in aviation, starting in the Australian Army where David held various positions such as Pilot, Squadron Commander, and Gunship Captain. David then transitioned to civilian companies such as Sikorsky Helitech and Australian Helicopters Pty Ltd before joining Careflight Group Queensland as a Line Captain. Currently, David works at LifeFlight Australia as a Touring Line Captain, responsible for primary EMS and IFT operations. Prior to this, David was a Touring Helicopter Pilot at Toll Remote Logistics, providing general helicopter support duties to the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands. David holds a Trade Qualified degree in Electrical Mechanic from the Army Apprentices School.
