Kim Landry has extensive work experience in the medical field. Kim served as the President/CEO of Excalibur Telemedical Services, Inc. starting in 2011. Prior to that, they were the Chief Medical Officer at Lifeguard Ambulance Service LLC since 1997. Kim also held the role of Medical Director at Multiple EMS Agencies starting in 2003. Additionally, they have been an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at FSU College of Medicine since June 2003.
Kim Landry completed their education in a progressive and diverse manner. Kim began their academic journey in 1974 at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nursing. After successfully attaining their first bachelor's degree, they continued their studies at the University of West Florida from 1983 to 1985, earning another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, this time in Biology.
With a strong foundation in the sciences, Kim decided to further their education and pursued a medical degree. From 1986 to 1989, they attended the University of Florida, where they completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Throughout their education, Kim's focus remained primarily within the scientific and medical fields, demonstrating their passion for healthcare and dedication to understanding and improving health.

Lifeguard Ambulance Service was founded in 1990 by John and Deborah Roche as a small domestic and international provider of fixed-wing air ambulance services. In 1998, the company was expanded to include ground ambulance services. Since its humble beginnings, Lifeguard has grown exponentially to include more than 800 team members across six states. Lifeguard continually strives to deliver comfortable, comprehensive care to its patients while providing exceptional customer service by promoting a culture of creativity, innovation, and constant improvement. Lifeguard's policies and procedures are built upon a foundation of industry best practices established by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS). As a demonstration of its commitment to quality, Lifeguard voluntarily started the prestigious CAAS accreditation in 2011. Since that time, Lifeguard has received full accreditation in multiple locations and will continue to pursue the industry gold standard until all of its operations are accredited. Lifeguard provides a full-service solution through E-911 operations, emergency and non-emergency transports, value-based healthcare partnerships, specialty ambulance program management, and system consulting.
