Emma McVearry has a range of work experiences, beginning in 2011 as a Marketer/Representative at Food Temps, where they marketed the product "Lacy's Cookies" at the Fancy Food Show in Washington, DC. Emma also handled accounts with suppliers like Whole Foods and Trader Joes, selling over 100 orders of cookies.
In 2012, Emma worked as a Waitress at Steamers Seafood Restaurant, where they managed up to $2,000 in food and beverage receipts per shift and served up to 30 customers at once. Emma held this position until 2013.
In 2014, Emma became a Marketing Intern at the Clemson Sports Marketing Department, where they planned marketing promotions for Women's soccer and basketball events. Emma also promoted upcoming events to the Clemson student body and gained hands-on experience with event planning. Emma's internship ended in 2015.
During the summer of 2014, Emma worked as a Waitress at Water's Edge Restaurant, and then later in 2015, they worked as a Waitress at Calder's Pub.
Also in 2015, Emma became a Marketing/PR Intern at The Keynote Group, where they worked on public relations tasks such as writing press releases, managing media lists, and booking radio show guests. Emma also handled marketing responsibilities such as content creation, social media posting, and website maintenance.
Starting in January 2016, Emma worked as a Professional Communications Intern at Clemson Outdoor Lab. Their responsibilities included assisting with retreat center processes, interacting with guests and potential customers, and developing marketing and communication tools. Emma worked on projects such as web page improvements, social media updates, signage updates, and coordinating brand efforts. Their internship at Clemson Outdoor Lab ended in May 2016.
Finally, since 2016, Emma has been a Marketing Manager at LifeHikes®, a global professional training company. Their role involves helping companies like Facebook, Alibaba, Dropbox, and Google improve team performance through LifeHikes' connected learning ecosystem.
Emma McVearry attended Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School from 2008 to 2012, graduating with a 3.65 GPA. Emma then went on to attend Clemson University from 2012 to 2016, where they pursued a major in Marketing and a minor in Spanish.
