Diana Whellams

Dr. Whellams joined LifeLabs in the summer of 2017. She previously completed a Master’s degree in Public Health at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver in 2009 before pursuing her undergraduate medical and residency training in Medical Microbiology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

Dr. Whellams is a Clinical Instructor involved in several courses at the University of British Columbia and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Specialty Committee in Medical Microbiology.

Dr. Whellams’ professional interests include antibiotic susceptibility testing, laboratory quality, and medical education.
