Huda Almohri

Deputy Ontario Medical Director, LifeLabs at LifeLabs

Dr. Almohri joined LifeLabs as a Medical Microbiologist in 2008 and became the Discipline Head for Microbiology in 2011, Ontario Deputy Medical Director in 2014 and Laboratory Director for 100 International reference lab in 2017. Currently she is working on introducing more advanced molecular technology to the Microbiology Laboratory at LifeLabs.

Dr. Almohri obtained her medical degree in 1999. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at McGill University and her residency in Medical Microbiology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Almohri obtained her certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for Internal Medicine in 2005, Infectious Diseases in 2006 and Medical Microbiology in 2007. She is also American board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Dr. Almohri’s main areas of interest are hospital infection control and infections in immunocompromised patients.
